About Me
Hello! My name is Jessica Malin and I'm the face behind In the Midst Photography and I would be so genuinely thrilled to be your photographer! Whatever that might be in this chapter of your life!
A little about me- Knoxville is truly home. I do life with my amazing husband Adam, which we have now been sweethearts for 10 plus years! Other things I love: coffee, naps, exploring new locations, eating at local places, meeting new people, hanging out with friends, my church, my faith, lakes-the water, Phantom of the Opera, anything lavender, chocolate, bonfires, Fall, and flowers {peonies are my favorite!}
In the Midst Photography is about creating and capturing those special moments with the ones you love. My sessions are client-centered and I encourage natural emotions, genuine moments and a heck of a good time!
The name In the Midst Photography was inspired by the scripture below.
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

My Mission
At In the Midst Photography I make it my goal to create an experience you won’t forget. I use a mixture of actions and prompts to promote raw organic emotions- for example running, hip bumping, and dancing. I love having a good time and I want that to shine through in each photo! It is my personal goal to make you feel happy, confident, and excited during each session.
